Haluk’s practice spans over 20 years and is a blend of corporate and finance work, with a focus on project and corporate financings, capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and regulatory matters. Throughout his career, he has advised top-tiered domestic and international clients, including private equity funds, foreign and domestic banks, financial institutions, and multinationals on numerous cross border transactions -both inbound and outbound.
Haluk’s expertise has been recognized by various international research organizations including Chambers (Banking and Finance) and IFLR 1000 (Energy and Infrastructure, Capital Markets, M&A and Project Finance).
Prior to starting his private practice with BilgiçLegal, Haluk was the name partner of Bilgiç Attorney Partnership (affiliated to Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, and before that, Chadbourne & Park LLP), and a name partner at Özdirekcan Bilgiç Dündar, the Turkish correspondent firm of Gide, where he headed their banking and finance practice. Before his time at Gide’s Turkish affiliate, Haluk worked at Birsel Law Offices.

Fulya is an international corporate lawyer specializing in corporate and commercial transactions. Her practice has focused on commercial and corporate law, cross border mergers and acquisitions, project and corporate finance, privatizations, public procurement, power/infrastructure, technology, internet, e-commerce, privacy and data security. With over 20 years of experience, she was involved in numerous major M&A, privatizations, project finance and energy deals in Turkey.
She worked at leading international law firms and a legal consultancy in Istanbul and in New York as a counsel to individuals, international companies, financial institutions and banks. She has been recognized/ranked in publications including Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, and Chambers & Partners as one of the leading M&A and corporate lawyers in Turkey. Listed as an international law firm founder in Legal 500’s 2015 Edition.
Fulya is a member of the New York City Bar Association, formerly the head of international subcommittee of Information Technology Committee of the Association, a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, European American Chamber of Commerce, American Turkish Society, The Society of Turkish American Architects Engineers and Scientists, and published articles in the areas of M&A, corporate and energy. Apart from law, she gained experience in finance while working at Prudential Preferred Financial Services, Inc. in Charleston, SC in 1997-98.
